22 November 2012 – Today marks another important milestone for EASB’s quest for excellence. EASB is a proud recipient of the Enterprise 50 (E50) Awards 2012, jointly organised by The Business Times and KPMG, with support from Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, International Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Business Federation and SPRING Singapore.
Amongst the 50 recipients, EASB is highly ranked at 6th position and also, the only private education provider to be awarded such a prestigious award this year.
E50 applicants are evaluated based on quantitative and qualitative criteria. Quantitative measures relate to historical financial performance such as turnover, operating profit before tax, and profit growth.
On the qualitative front, factors such as viability of business model, long-term plans, innovation initiatives and productivity, as well as standard of corporate governance are assessed within a standardised framework.
This prestigious award is a testament to EASB’s achievements over the past decade.
On receiving this E50 award, Dr Andrew Chua, Executive Chairman of EASB commented, “We see this award as a significant milestone on our way of becoming a premier regional private education provider of career-ready professionals.”
With over 1300 guests attending the gala dinner, Mr S Iswaran, Minister in Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs &Trade and Industry, graced the event held at Resorts World Sentosa Convention Centre as Guest-of-Honour.
