Some young foodies were recently out on a food trip to explore various local delicacies in Singapore. These students visited various spots like Clementi Blk 448, Beauty World and Tiong Bahru Hawker to immerse themselves in an delicious experience.
They also had the chance to be “critics” in sharing their thoughts of the food. From satay bee hoon to chwee kuehs (steamed rice cake with preserved turnip) and goreng pisang (fried banana fritters), students get a taste of these local delights and got to describe their experiences and exchange opinions.
In a review, one student shared that though a red bean pancake may not look as appealing, it tasted crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside.
In another review of a carrot cake, a student shared that though the smell was not as nice, the taste of it left a good note on her tastebuds.
May we have more food adventures to come!
