  • 1. English Language
    • This subject is designed for learners to develop the ability to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively when speaking and writing. In addition, students are encouraged to use a wide range of vocabulary, and the correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. They also have to develop a personal style and an awareness of the audience being addressed. Learners are also encouraged to read widely. Our curriculum ensures that students develop more general analysis and communication skills such as inference, and the ability to order facts and present opinions effectively.
  • 2. Chinese Language
    • A skills-based approach and an international focus, using a course-book with audio CDs promote a deeper understanding of the Mandarin language and culture. There are engaging texts, images and audio to enhance the activities in the course-book to help students develop language skills. Essentially, this course trains our students to be proficient as first language speakers.
  • 3. Mathematics
    • This subject is intended to provide students with a fundamental knowledge of mathematical knowledge and skills, to guide them in applications to the real world and their study of related disciplines.. By developing their mathematical thinking and problem solving skills, students can have confidence in applying these skills to solve problems with logical reasoning and judgement.
  • 4. Additional Mathematics
    • This subject prepares students for their future study at General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A-Level) Mathematics. They will acquire a strong foundation in algebraic manipulation skills and mathematical reasoning skills. Along with Elementary Mathematics, these 2 subjects will equip students with the necessary mathematical concepts and skills for continuous learning in Mathematics and related disciplines.
  • 5. Physics
    • Our IGCSE Physics programme?helps to build a strong foundation in core Physics principles and concepts. Students develop the right concepts so that they can confidently work out their solutions from first principles and apply them to real world situations. Students thus understand how Physics concepts relate to daily phenomena occurring around them, and better appreciate their importance and relevance in real life.
  • 6. Science (Combined)
    • Under this programme, students study Biology, Chemistry and Physics, each covered in separate syllabi sections. It is a single award qualification, earning one grade. Students gain an understanding of the basic principles of each subject through a mix of theoretical and practical studies, while also developing an understanding of the scientific skills essential for further study.?The course helps students to understand the technological world in which they live, and take an informed interest in science and scientific developments.
  • 7. Business Studies
    • Business Studies programme will give students the best possible preparation for a successful exposure in a wide range of industries. Students will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the business concepts and principles associated with the broader discipline how the major types of business organisation are established, financed and run, and how their activities are regulated. Factors influencing business decision-making are also factored in.
  • 8. Information Communication Technology
    • The programme encourages learners to develop lifelong skills, which will be useful to them in their work across the curriculum and prepare them for future employment. They will develop understanding of the implications of technology in society, including social, economic and ethical uses and awareness of the ways ICT can help in home, learning and work environments.?
  • 9. Accounting
    • The programme introduces learners to the theory and concepts of accounting and the ways in which accounting is used in a variety of modern economic and business contexts. Students focus on the skills of recording, reporting, presenting and interpreting financial information and build an ideal foundation both for further study and for a future career within the profession.
  • 10. History
    • Students look at some of the major international issues of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as covering the history of particular regions in more depth. The emphasis is on both historical knowledge and on the skills required for historical research.?Students develop an understanding of the nature of cause and effect, continuity and change, similarity and difference and find out how to use and understand historical evidence as part of their studies. The programme will stimulate any learner already interested in the past, providing a basis for further study, and also encouraging a lifelong interest in the subject. Both coursework and non-coursework options are available.
  • 11. Arts
    • The programme aims to encourage a personal response by stimulating imagination, sensitivity, conceptual thinking, powers of observation and analytical ability. Students gain confidence and enthusiasm as they develop technical skills in two and three dimensional form and composition, and are able to identify and solve problems in visual and tactile forms. They also learn how to develop ideas from initial attempts to final solutions. An ideal foundation for further study, the programme also develops a greater awareness of the role played by the visual arts in society and in history, broadening cultural horizons and individual experience.
  • 12. Geography
    • Students will develop a 'sense of place' by looking at the world around them on a local, regional and global scale. Students will examine a range of natural and man-made environments, and study some of the processes which affected their development. They will also look at the ways in which people interact with their environments, and the opportunities and challenges an environment can present, thereby gaining a deeper insight into the different communities and cultures that exist around the world
